Fees
We’re passionate about helping homeowners and small developers get the support they need at a reasonable cost. We provide a customised service and our fees are therefore tailored to each project. However, as a guide we have outlined a schedule of fees based on a standard residential loft conversion and/or rear extension within our standard service area.
Serving Notice
£50 +VAT for the first adjoining owner £25 +VAT for each additional adjoining owner
Serving the required Party Wall Notices on the Adjoining Owner’s Property.
Schedule of Condition
£400 +VAT (cost is per adjoining property)
If the adjoining owner consents to the work, we will often still recommend a Schedule of Condition is carried out. This is to establish the existing condition of the structure and fabric, to areas in the near vicinity and at potential risk from the proposed works.
Party Wall Award - Agreed Surveyor
£570 +VAT (cost is per adjoining property)
Undertake the role of Agreed Surveyor following a dispute arising with an Adjoining Owner adjacent to your property. Produce and serve upon both the Building Owner and Adjoining Owner a Party Wall Award including a photographic and written Schedule of Condition of the Adjoining Owners property.
£95/hr +VAT (cost is per adjoining property)
Undertake the role of the Building Owners Appointed Surveyor following a dispute arising with an Adjoining Owner adjacent to your property. Agree and negotiate with the Adjoining Owner’s Appointed Surveyor, a Party Wall Award including a photographic and written Schedule of Condition of the Adjoining Owners property. For normal building works, we would expect the total number of hours required to conclude matters to be in the region of eight hours.
